The promise
It can only write drafts. It can never send.
- We ask Google for one permission: to create drafts. There is no send button and no send code.
- Nothing goes out until you open the draft and press Send in Gmail.
- We never read your inbox. We don't open, list or change any email you already have.
- It all happens in your browser. Your emails, lists and sign-in never touch our servers.
- Replies come back to your normal inbox, because it's your normal email.
